The following infographic provides an outline of The 3-Dimensional Wisdom Scale developed by Professor of Sociology Monika Ardelt in the 1990s. As well as detailing the 3 dimensions, the graphic also highlights the critical interplay between the dimensions.

The Wise Personality

The following infographic outlines the 8 common traits of the wise personality, as detailed by a series of studies conducted by Paul Baltes and colleagues from 1997 to 2003.

The following infographic highlights 3 strategies that have been shown in the lab to temporarily boost wisdom performance. The graphic refers to work by Baltes, Staudinger, Böhmig-Krumhaar, Grossmann and Kross over the period from the mid-1990s up until 2013.
